The Rivermount Motel Bed and Breakfast, and RV Park and Campground is located just four km (2.5 miles) north of Little Fort, BC, Canada, nestled in the beautiful North Thompson River valley.
Parks Canada is offering free admission to Canada's National Parks in 2017.
Summer Activities
In all directions, but in particular on Hwy 24, the fishing is absolutely spectacular. Whether it be fly fishing, trolling, bait casting, or spin casting, catching your limit is within one's fishing abilities. Of course, a British Columbia fishing license is needed and fishing limits must be observed, but that can be obtained in Little Fort at the Little Fort Husky or at Little Fort Fly and Tackle.So you're not an angler? How about hiking?
Little Fort is only 66 km away from the world renowned Wells Gray Provincial Park. Hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, playing, all within reach of Rivermount Motel B&B.
Autumn Activities
Autumn comes and that means...Hunting, and the hunting is just as good as the fishing.
Winter Activities
Winter means snow, and playing in snow brings out the kid in each of us. Who doesn't like to play hard, then return to a warm retreat?
And around us, you can play hard in the snow. Less than 1 1/2 hours drive is the world famous Sun Peaks Resort. As they say, "Three Mountains, One Village, Four Seasons!" Winter never was better! And Rivermount Motel B&B can be part of that winter fun.
But you don't have to go that far to have fun in the snow! Up Hwy 24 is many, many natural places for snow play, exploration, or just relaxation. Snowmobiling and ski dooing abound up on Raft Mountain or in the Trophy's, as does some fabulous cross country ski trails at Candle Creek in Clearwater.
Spring Activities
Spring comes with the flowers, trees budding, birds, and warm days, refreshing nights. Nothing quite like spring in the North Thompson River Valley. Fresh air, rushing rivers--whether it be day trips in the car, exploring in bicycle, or just a leisurely walk on forgotten roads, spring is the time to shake out those winter blues!Season Doesn't Matter!
